History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History: Here y'all go
Point in Canon: A few years after he is turned by Carlisle in 1921
Conditional: Brief summary of previous RP history:
Character Personality: As a mortal, Edward was very well-off, financially speaking, and raised to reflect that. Not snobby or selfish, but gentlemanly and kind. He was well-educated in his private schools and his musical lessons, exposing him to an entire other world outside of academics that enriched his mind and soul just as much. He was also good at reading others and their emotions, even if they went to great lengths to hide their true feelings.
He was only close with his mother. His father was never around, causing them to be distant with each other even in the same room together. His love for his mother ran deep; she received the love he had for both parents, though the other rejected it and would never return it like she would. When he had wanted to become a soldier, he hesitated because of his love for his mother and leaving her alone to go overseas and fight in the first World War. He felt empty after she died from the Spanish influenza, wanting nothing more than death to take him so he could be with her.
Carlisle, the man who turned him and became the father figure he so desperately wanted all his life, had Edward's love almost immediately after he was changed. They developed a bond deeper than father and son, or maker and creation. It wasn't romantic in any sense but deeply platonic. Edward would do anything for Carlisle and he knew Carlisle would do the same.
Despite his physical appearance, Edward is far from perfect. He has control issues, despite his patient demeanor can have violent episodes, and can get angry if his family is threatened. His personality is not what it once was since he is a newborn, a creature fueled only by the desire to drink as much blood as possible. Carlisle raised him 'vegetarian', that is, drinking animal blood. However, not even the strongest-willed of newborns can resist the smell of fresh blood in the air.
Conditional: Personality development in previous game:
Character Plans: Just generally be as much of an antagonist as possible to find a way back home to Carlisle. Alice being here and knowing about him might make him calm down a little, but he will do whatever he can to get back home. Including destroy the Core.
Appearance/PB: RPattz as his PB and instead of his trademark golden eyes, they're red.

This city is disgusting. [ The audio is grainy, and there is the distinct sound of dripping water nearby. It's constant, almost soothing. ]
Half of the blood here is tainted and disgusting. The other half replenishes itself within a few days. Thoughts range from today's satisfaction to the end of the world in a few years. Hatred and lust pervading in the thoughts of the young and old, directed at those of us who haven't chosen to be sent here.
We've tried to be nice, but that has gotten us nowhere. I'm hungry. Blood isn't what I want. I want freedom. Freedom from these people. Freedom like that in America. [ Those familiar with vampires might notice a strange inflection in his tone, one that comes from being famished, so to speak. ]
Voids can't harm me. I'm able to still defeat them without reading their minds. Humans are so predictable, and slow. And weak.
Tonight we will be sent home. I'm destroying the Core.
Third Person Sample
Monsters after the sun goes down, sirens wailing every twelve hours or so. This future didn't surprise Edward, who was used to conflicts and wars and their effects on countries. Whatever had happened in this world - this universe - had clearly been the result of either a devastating war or powers beyond his own comprehension. Carlisle, if he were here, would know what to do. He missed his 'father'.
His bare feet hit the concrete hard, echoing loudly over the wail of the evening sirens. He looked to the running pedestrians, too late in getting off work and hurrying to get to safety before the monsters came out. Edward had disregarded all clothing save for a pair of trousers that stopped just above his knee. Just enough to not be indecent, as it was customary to run into at least one other newcomer in the Darkness hours. Everybody loved the thrill of the hunt, the adrenaline of a kill.
Edward found it a productive use of his time at night. The books here weren't very interesting, nor were the despicable excuses for corporations that watched over this island. The politics were just as bad, if not worse in their unwillingness to do anything. None of the monsters were hard to take down. Not the large, oozing fat ones in the poorer sectors, nor the fast, humanoid ones found all over the city in the night.
He lost himself, turning himself over to his monstrous side, but that came at a price. Twice he had found himself feeding upon a rather brave hunter in the night, mistaking Edward for a monster with his growling, red eyes, and blood-stained figure. He never stuck around to see if they had survived, always apologizing under his breath and, disgusted with himself, running to the oceanside to clean himself of his sins. He was never a religious boy, never raised in religion like others, but he supposed that cleansing himself in water could help him clear his sins, so to speak.
He'd ask for forgiveness from Carlisle - a dimension away but still alive, according to Alice, a woman he was close with in his own future - and remain submerged in the water until the sound of the morning sirens coursed through the water. He didn't need to breathe. Inhaling and exhaling in the water did nothing to him, though he did taste a mixture of water and blood from the inside of his mouth. The water was too murky and rusted to see through, also affected by the strange curse that afflicted the entire city.
Perhaps, for a monster like him, this was the perfect place. An after-life for those who couldn't attend them through 'normal' means.
